About Neria Massage Therapy

Founded by Marineria “Neria” Welch, Neria Massage Therapy was created from a lifelong passion for science, healing, and the study of the human body. Originally from Brazil, Neria began practicing massage therapy while still in high school and continued through college, developing a strong foundation in both wellness and clinical applications. Her early fascination with anatomy and healing evolved into a professional calling—to help individuals restore balance, function, and overall health through evidence-informed therapeutic care.

Since relocating to the United States in 1998, Neria has become a certified massage therapist with extensive experience in both spa and clinical settings. Through continued education and advanced certifications, she has refined her skills in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Brazilian, post-cosmetic operative techniques, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and other rehabilitative modalities. Her practice integrates clinical precision with intuitive understanding, allowing her to tailor each session to the specific needs of post-operative and rehabilitative clients.
