Massage

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is a smooth, gentle treatment that relieves muscular tension, increases circulation, and promotes a general sense of relaxation and well-being. This massage is performed using Swedish and other relaxation techniques, depending on the practitioner’s experience and training.

Unlike deep-tissue massage, relaxation massage does not address the connective tissue of the muscles and it is not intended to treat sports injuries or other discomfort; it is instead used to reduce muscle tension while bringing the body back to a relaxed state, or to help improve mental health.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep-tissue therapy is a particular massage technique performed with slow strokes and sustained pressure to target the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It’s used primarily to treat musculoskeletal problems and to aid recovery from vigorous physical activity or sports injuries.

Deep tissue massage reduces tension, stiffness, and chronic pain ;it breaks down scar tissue, and assists in in blood pressure reduction along with calming the heart rate. Deep Tissue  Massage helps to rehabilitate  injured muscles, tendons and ligaments by stretching fascia, relaxing tightness and improving range of motion.

Manual

Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a form of gentle tissue manipulation that encourages the movement of lymph fluids throughout the body. The fluids in the lymphatic system help remove waste and toxins from tissue that may be sluggish due to health conditions, bolstering the body’s natural detoxification process and enhancing the immune system at the same time.

In addition to maintaining fluid levels in the body, the lymphatic system also absorbs fats from the digestive tract, and  protects the body against foreign invaders that transport waste products to be eliminated from the body.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Post Surgery

Tummy Tuck, BBL, Liposuction, Facelift, Necklift, Breast Reduction and Augmentation, Abdominoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty. These treatments provide more than the simple and necessary lymphatic drainage, which is vitally important directly after the procedure. Each stage of the  healing process requires a specialized treatment and has its own goals

The first stage reduces initial congestion, inflammation, and pain.  The second stage treats issues that might occur post-surgery such as lumps, fibrosis, seromas or hematomas. The final stage defines and perfects your ideal body shape.

Post-Surgical and Non-Surgical Facial Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Facial Manual Lymphatic Drainage relieves pain, inflammation, discomfort and swelling. This effective and soothing treatment promotes faster more comfortable recovery and speeds the
healing process post-procedure. In addition, it helps prevent lumps or ropy scar tissue formation which is important for attaining the desired outcome of cosmetic or other surgical procedures.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage is a specific type of massage that benefits mom and baby during pregnancy.

This highly effective treatment promotes overall well-being while relieving discomfort and reducing swelling.

As Prenatal Massage drains the lymphatic system, it improves circulation, and relaxes and soothes the body and mind as well.
